A Post, Just A Few Months Late

I set this blog up months ago, but I haven’t gotten around to actually writing a post. My original idea was to set it up for my research and findings. I hope to add other family members who are interesting in family history. If this is you, I can set you up to create posts (Karen, I hear you found a few names on the Curtis side. I am sure we would all love to know who and what you found). I am still figuring a few things out, but I think I only need the email address you use in Blogger.

Even while I am only working a few hours a week, I still find time hard to come by. I always think I will be able to allocate more of my week to family history and maybe someday I will. Until then, who knows how often posts will appear. Don’t give up on me. Perhaps with all of us working together we can come up with enough of the interesting stories that made us who we are today.

When I was contemplating starting this blog, I did consider that it would be a great Christmas idea. I am not at the height of my riches at the moment. I needed inexpensive ideas and since time is slightly easier to come by than money, I figured this would be a great idea. Unfortunately, I haven’t had much progress with it. You never know, maybe we all could use a great New Year resolution!
